Russia remains a serious threat to Europe, and this danger must be actively countered.
According to "Komersant Ukrainian", this was stated by Polish President Karol Nawrocki during a conversation with journalists following a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda.
According to Nawrocki, Russia’s aggressive nature has not changed over time.
“The nature of Russia has remained unchanged — it continues to pose a threat to Central and Eastern Europe,” the Polish president emphasized.
He drew attention to the fact that Russia continues to launch missile strikes on Ukraine, despite calls from some countries to return to the policy of so-called “resetting” relations with Moscow.
Nawrocki stressed that Russia has been and remains a threat for many years, regardless of the historical period or political regime.
“This is not just about Putin’s Russia — it was a threat during the tsarist era and under the Bolsheviks,” he said.
The Polish president also stressed the importance of close cooperation between European states to ensure the security of the continent. According to him, Poland attaches particular importance to this area.
