Russia has attacked Ukraine’s gas infrastructure again: what are the losses?

Russian troops have struck again at Ukraine’s gas infrastructure. This is the ninth massive shelling of energy system facilities since the beginning of October.

According to the report, on the night of November 8, the enemy deliberately attacked enterprises that provide Ukrainians with gas and heat. There was damage to production equipment.

One employee of the company was injured. He is under medical supervision.

Rescue services are currently working at the impact sites. As soon as the security situation allows, Naftogaz specialists will start restoration work.

“Another act of terrorism. We are grateful to the air defense forces: every downed target means saved lives,” said Naftogaz CEO Serhiy Koretsky.

Attacks on gas infrastructure

on October 28, the Russian army attacked gas infrastructure for the seventh time in a month. The attack damaged production facilities in Poltava region.

On the night of October 16, the Russian army carried out the sixth massive attack on Ukraine’s gas infrastructure since the beginning of October. The attack was a combined one, involving dozens of missiles, including ballistic missiles, and hundreds of “shaheds.”

And on the night of October 3, the Russians carried out the largest massive attack on the company’s gas production assets since the beginning of the full-scale war. Then Russia destroyed 60% of Ukraine’s gas production.
