Russia has once again attacked Ukraine’s ports and railways: what are the consequences?

On the night of March 26, the Russian army once again attacked Ukraine’s railway and port infrastructure.
This was reported by Ukraine’s Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Kuleba, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
According to him, drones attacked a locomotive maintenance facility in the Kirovohrad region. Several locomotives were damaged.
In addition, strikes on warehouses and piers were recorded in the Odesa region, and buildings belonging to port operators and the maritime terminal were damaged.
Kuleba said that no one was injured during these attacks.
The minister noted that all relevant services are working to address the consequences and restore operations.
According to the Izmail Regional State Administration, the attack caused damage in two locations—the city of Izmail and the Vilkivska community.
Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, stated that due to the attack, there are power outages in some settlements. Critical infrastructure has been switched to backup power. Restoration work is ongoing.
