“The largest number of houses is planned to be demolished in the Left Bank and Central districts of the captured city… In particular, there are plans to demolish most of the houses on one of the oldest historic streets, Torgovaya. Instead of houses of Mariupol residents, they plan to build mortgage construction for Russians,” the statement said.

The occupiers claim that the demolition is planned allegedly because of the significant destruction caused by the fighting.

The city council reminded that during the Russian blockade of Mariupol, more than 38,000 private houses were damaged, and 6,500 were completely destroyed.
