On the night of April 7, Pavlohrad in the Dnipropetrovsk region came under attack from kamikaze drones. Two Russian “Shahed” drones struck the warehouse of Star Brands—a manufacturer of juices, Flint crackers, Big Bob nuts, “Khutorok” flour, “San Sanych” seeds, and a dozen other popular products —according to Star Brands, as reported by "Komersant Ukrainian".

“Tonight, around 2:20 a.m., two enemy Shahed drones struck the Star Brands facility in Pavlohrad. There were a total of five UAVs in the area, three of which were shot down. A direct hit caused a fire, and the warehouse was seriously damaged. But the most important thing is that our people are alive,” the company reported.

According to the post, thanks to the rescue workers, the company’s employees were unharmed.

“This night could have been tragic had it not been for the professionalism of the State Emergency Service and the preparedness of our team, which was taking cover during the alert. Rescuers did everything possible, evacuated employees, and began extinguishing the fire. Currently, the employees are in satisfactory condition and are safe,” the statement reads.

The company reported that the fire has now been completely extinguished, and a preliminary assessment of the extent of the damage is available—approximately 5,500 square meters of the warehouse complex were affected. An assessment of material losses, including lost raw materials and finished products stored in the warehouse, is underway.

“We are infinitely grateful to the rescue workers for their courage and for saving lives. Material losses are a challenge, but people are our top priority. Currently, our logistics team is working in emergency mode: we are implementing a plan to reroute shipments so that our partners and customers receive their orders on time,” stated Snack Production management.

As Star Brands Group noted, this is not the first time the company has faced enemy attacks and destruction.

“But every time, the team has prompt and effective solutions to support customers and restore our own facilities. We thank every firefighter and defender of the skies. We’re holding strong,” the statement reads

The company promised to provide updates on the situation later.
