Russians fired a record 537 targets at Ukraine: how air defense worked

On the night of June 29, Russia fired a record number of targets at Ukraine – 537. Air defense forces shot down most of them, but there were also hits.

This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

“The Russians attacked Ukraine last night:

  • 477 attack drones and imitator drones of various types from the directions of: Kursk, Shatalovo, Orel, Bryansk, Millerovo, Chauda (Crimea), more than 250 of them were Shaheds;
  • 4 X-47M2 “Kinzhal” aeroballistic missiles from the airspace of Tambov region;
  • 7 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from Voronezh region and Crimea;
  • 41 X-101/”Iskander-K” cruise missiles from Saratov, Kursk, and Bryansk regions;
  • 5 Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea;
  • 3 S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the Kursk region.

The enemy attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
