Debris removal in Kyiv completed: 33 people killed

All rescue and recovery operations in Kyiv have been completed. The Russian attack on the capital on 8 July killed 33 people, including 5 children. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the State Emergency Service.
“As a result of the enemy shelling on 8 July, 33 people died in the capital, including 5 children. Also, 121 people were injured, including 10 children. 11 people were rescued,”
– the statement said.
The SES thanked Ukrainians for their concern, support and assistance.
“These were tragic, tense and exhausting days. The enemy has once again confirmed its status as a ‘terrorist country’. Emergency rescuers and dozens of vehicles were constantly clearing the rubble, trying to save every life,”
– the SES stressed.




According to KMWA, as of the morning of 10 July, 38 victims remained in hospitals, 6 of them in serious condition.
In addition, 6 children from the Okhmatdyt hospital, who were hit by a Russian missile two days ago, are being treated in children’s hospitals in the city.
“In total, 100 young patients of Okhmatdyt are being treated in other medical institutions in Kyiv and the region,

Missile attack on Kyiv on 8 July
On the morning of 8 July, Russian troops attacked Kyiv. Damage was recorded in 7 districts of the city – Solomianskyi, Dniprovskyi, Darnytskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Desnianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi and Holosiivskyi.
In particular, the Russians attacked the Okhmatdyt children’s hospital. One of the Russian missiles hit the intensive and efferent therapy unit for chronic intoxication of the National Children’s Specialised Hospital “Ohmatdyt”, damaging 5 buildings.
Two people died there, including doctor Svitlana Lukyanchuk. the 30-year-old from Lviv worked there as a paediatric nephrologist.
Also, a Russian strike on the private ADONIS clinic in the Dnipro district of Kyiv killed seven people.
