The team of Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk, who will meet his rival Tyson Fury in the ring in the Saudi capital on December 21, arrived in the country wearing costumes with Crimean Tatar symbols. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Rtfight store.
The team was dressed in purple tracksuits. This is the favorite color of Oleksandr Usyk’s father.
The clothes were decorated with the Crimean Tatar ornament ornek, made in green. It is a symbol of strength and heritage. This ornament is included in the Representative List of Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity and symbolizes the honor of the champion’s small homeland, Crimea.
The ornament contains small elements, mostly floral and geometric, of symmetrical and asymmetrical arrangement, combined into a composition. The main symbolism is the image of flowers and trees in shades of pink, green, yellow and blue. For his team, the Ukrainian chose a floral ornament with leaves and grapes.
On the back of the suits there is a Ukrainian trident stylized as a bullseye.

For the first time in the history of boxing, an artificial intelligence judge will work at the fight. This was announced by Turki Al-Sheikh, head of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority. He noted that AI is able to evaluate the fight without bias and human errors. It is currently a revolutionary experiment, so it will not affect the official results.
Usyk himself believes that the fight will be difficult.
“It will definitely not be easier. I think it will be even harder. I always prepare myself for a hard fight. I’m prepared for such things. I don’t need it to be easier. You cannot find diamonds in ease because they are not there. It is impossible to achieve success without hard work. Everything that comes easy does not grow well,” the boxer told reporters.
