On Saturday, an enemy attack damaged one of the administrative buildings of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in Kyiv.

According to "Komersant Ukrainian", Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Andriy Vitrenko wrote about it on Facebook.

“There are no injuries among the ministry’s employees and visitors. Currently, emergency services are working at the scene – they are dismantling the rubble and eliminating the consequences of the hit,” Vitrenko wrote.

Vitrenko also noted that the Ministry of Education is already taking all necessary organizational measures to ensure the continuous operation of the key functions of the department in the conditions of temporarily limited access to the damaged building.

Also, during the Russian shelling of Kyiv last night and in the morning, the Russian army hit a dormitory of the National Aviation University.

As a reminder, on the night of December 26-27, Russian troops launched a large-scale attack on Kyiv, using missiles and attack drones. The air raid alert was sounded in the capital for a long time, and air defense forces were practicing against enemy targets.

Several districts of the city experienced power and heat outages. Utilities are already working to restore the supply of resources.

The city authorities urged Kyiv residents not to ignore air raid warnings and to immediately go to shelters in case of repeated threats.
