The market for new cars in Ukraine. Where and what are the most popular purchases?

In January, the largest regional markets for new passenger cars in Ukraine were: the city of Kyiv, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Odesa regions. This was reported by Ukravtoprom, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
It is noted that these regional markets accounted for 59% of new passenger car sales in January.
– 1,571 cars were purchased in the capital during the month.
– In the Kyiv region, 486 cars were registered.
– 356 cars were registered in Dnipropetrovsk region.
– In the Kharkiv region, 350 cars were registered.
– In the Odesa region, 278 cars were registered.
According to analytics, the bestseller of the month on the new car markets of the capital and Kharkiv region was the TOYOTA RAV-4 crossover.
In the Kyiv and Odesa regions, the RENAULT Duster was the most popular purchase.
In Dnipropetrovsk region, the BYD Leopard 3 electric car took the lead.
Recall: As previously reported by Ukravtoprom, at the end of 2025, the largest regional markets for new passenger cars in Ukraine were: the city of Kyiv, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, and Lviv regions.
According to analytics: During the year, Kyiv residents purchased 26,200 new passenger cars.
In the Kyiv region, 7,800 new cars were registered.
Residents of Dnipropetrovsk region purchased 6,800 units.
In the Odesa region, 4,500 units were purchased.
In Lviv region, 4,400 units were purchased.
It is reported that the best-selling car of the year in the capital was the compact crossover RENAULT Duster. In the markets of the Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions, the VOLKSWAGEN ID.Unyx electric car was in the highest demand. In the Odesa region, the BYD Song Plus was the most popular choice. In the Lviv region, the TOYOTA RAV-4 crossover won.
