A series of fires at Russian industrial facilities
In recent months, Russia has been regularly reporting fires and explosions at industrial and fuel facilities.
Some cases are officially explained as “safety violations” or “short circuits,” but in a number of incidents, including at oil refineries and warehouses, Russian media have recognized Ukrainian drone strikes.
In particular, in September and October, explosions and fires were reported at refineries in Ryazan, Ufa, and Krasnodar Krai.
Investigative bodies of the Russian Emergencies Ministry began to check the causes of the fires. The fire in Pushkino may be related to a violation of technological processes or storage of flammable materials used in the production of automotive oils.
Rescuers predict that the complete elimination of the fire may take several hours.
