The messages urge users to click on a fraudulent link to allegedly verify their identity and avoid having their accounts blocked.
Here is the content of the email:

“Of course, this is not sent by the Oschadbank team, but by a team of criminals. This is clear at least from the address from which these letters are sent. Please be careful and do not fall for such phishing schemes,” said Serhiy Naumov, Chairman of the Management Board of Oschadbank.
The goal of the attackers
According to experts, the main goal of fraudsters is to gain access to confidential user data, such as logins, passwords or bank details. The attackers can use this data to steal money or commit other criminal acts.
“The goal of fraudsters is to take possession of your personal data in order to use it in their criminal schemes,” the CPA explained.
How to protect yourself from fraud?
To avoid becoming a victim of fraud, follow these recommendations:
- Check the sender’s address. Official messages from Oschadbank come only from verified domains, such as @oschadbank.ua.
 - Do not click on suspicious links. If the email contains a link to “confirm your identity” or “unlock your account,” ignore it.
 - Refer to official sources. In case of doubt, call the Oschadbank hotline or check the information through the official website or mobile application.
 - Do not disclose confidential data. The bank never asks for passwords, codes or card numbers via e-mail.
