The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine has launched a new analytical tool, the Dashboard, which provides access to detailed data on investigations of business offences. The project was developed on behalf of the President of Ukraine and is the result of cooperation between the public and private sectors. This was reported by the Prosecutor General’s Office, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
The presentation of the beta version of the Dashboard was held with the participation of high-ranking officials and business representatives from the Council for Support of Entrepreneurship under Martial Law, which includes Artem Borodatiuk and Oleg Gorokhovsky. These are the people the President’s Office consults with as representatives of domestic business.
“Today, we are presenting another product of our joint work – an effective mechanism for increasing the transparency and efficiency of law enforcement agencies in Ukraine. This is a response to the needs of society. This is a response to the demand of business and investors who want to see justice and integrity in the work of law enforcement. I am glad that the discussion about the pressure of regulatory authorities on business will finally be translated into the plane of numbers and data, not posts on social media,”
– said Andriy Yermak, Head of the Presidential Office.
The dashboard is a visualised application to the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations (URPI) system. It provides access to analytical data and statistics on the investigation of offences in the field of economic and investment activity. This tool allows all stakeholders to analyse real-time statistics on the work of law enforcement agencies in this category of crimes, and to identify positive and negative trends.
The developers claim that the Dashboard collects and presents data on the statistics of investigations and court proceedings related to business in a format that is easy to analyse and understand.
The Dashboard is currently in beta mode and is available for free use on the official website of the Prosecutor General’s Office at https://dashboard.gp.gov.ua/. This tool is expected to increase the transparency of law enforcement and strengthen trust between the state and business.
Currently, the Cabinet of Ministers is demonstrating activity and determination to once again “optimise” business with initiatives such as a “white business club ” or a feedback platform.
