McDonald’s Ukraine has opened a new restaurant in the center of Lviv on Rynok Square. This was reported by the company’s press service, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
The restaurant is located in the city center next to City Hall.
“During work on the project at Rynok Square, attention was paid to preserving the historical elements of the buildings: parts of the facades and interior structures were restored, and the roof was repaired,” the company’s press service reported.
Additionally, according to the company, McDonald’s updated the building’s utility systems while preserving its authentic features. The restaurant covers an area of 935 m². It features 38 seats on the first floor and 148 in the basement. Visitors can order meals daily from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. using seven self-service kiosks in the dining area and, in particular, through the “McDelivery” delivery service.
The new restaurant has created 80 jobs, according to McDonald’s press service. This is the chain’s 124th restaurant operating in Ukraine and its 14th in Lviv, they add.
In 2025, the company opened 12 new restaurants and renovated five existing ones. The chain made its debut in the Zakarpattia region—in Uzhhorod and Mukachevo—as well as in Hatne, Kyiv region, and in Lypyny near Lutsk.
Additionally, the first McDonald’s restaurant featuring a sustainable design concept began operating in Lviv. In total, since 2022, the company has opened 33 new locations, expanding the chain by more than 25% during this period.
At the same time, McDonald’s continued to work on the sustainability of its network: the share of restaurants equipped with generators has risen to over 95%, which supports operations during power outages, the company reports.
