What is “Veteran PRO” and how to use it: the state has launched a single portal to support the military

A new digital platform called Veteran PRO, created by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, has been launched in Ukraine. It has become the only state online portal that unites all support programs for the military, veterans, their families, and professionals working with them. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
What is this service?
“Veteran PRO was created to simplify access to information about government programs for treatment, rehabilitation, prosthetics, education, employment, social protection, and business development.
Who is the platform for?
“Veteran PRO is designed for:
- representatives of local authorities and veterans’ organizations.
- veterans and women veterans;
- persons with disabilities caused by war;
- families of fallen defenders and defenders;
- specialists in supporting veterans;
How it works
The information on the platform is grouped into areas:
- health and rehabilitation (treatment, prosthetics, dentistry, rehabilitation, psychological assistance)
- social protection and financial support (social services, benefits, pensions, adaptation)
- housing and infrastructure (housing programs, land plots, car provision);
- transportation and utility benefits (preferential transportation, discounts on utilities, car insurance);
- documents and status (issuance of a certificate, updating data, restoration of documents);
- education and work (employment, retraining, training programs, vouchers);
- tax and administrative benefits (tax exemptions, benefits for budget payments);
- sports and competitions (veteran sports, sports events and competitions);
- grants and business support (grants, microfinance, business communities).
Each block contains descriptions of services, step-by-step instructions, links and additional information.
Why was Veteran PRO created?
The initiative aims to make public services for veterans accessible, understandable and centralized. Now, all the services they need can be found in one place, without the need to contact different institutions.

How to use the platform
To access the services:
- Go to veteranpro.gov.ua.
- Select your status (veteran, person with a disability caused by war, family member of the deceased).
- Get acquainted with the available programs and services.
- Get the service online or contact a support specialist.
