Ukraine and Norway will jointly produce drones. The relevant document was signed by the defense ministers of the two countries.

This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Telegram of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.

“This is an important step that will allow us to scale our capabilities and strengthen Ukraine’s defense,” Shmyhal said.

According to him, the next stage is to quickly deploy a pilot production line in 2026 and work in parallel to further increase capacity.

“Ukraine will share its experience and innovations with Norway. In turn, we will receive a strong production site that will provide our soldiers with modern drones, as well as research and development cooperation with leading Norwegian institutions,” he added.

It is noted that this project is an example of the cooperation that Ukraine is building with partners: cooperation that strengthens the defense capabilities of all countries of the free world.

As a reminder, Ukraine, together with the United States, has begun producing interceptor drones.

Earlier, Zelenskyy said that by the end of November, Ukraine would produce 600-800 interceptor drones per day. However, these plans may be hampered by Russian shelling. At the same time, the president emphasized that this is a “complicated story.”

Earlier, Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal promised to reach the level of 1,000 interceptor drones per day soon. He said that this is Ukraine’s response to the night attacks by Russian invaders.

It is worth noting that Ukraine already has interceptor drones that can counter Russian jet-powered Shaheds.

In addition, in the fall it became known that Britain would sign an agreement with Ukraine on the joint development and production of advanced military equipment. It provides for the exchange of technologies that will strengthen the national security of both countries.

Ukraine is currently working on countering Russian guided aerial bombs. To this end, several companies are working on special interceptor drones. In addition, Ukrainian engineers have created cheap interceptor drones that have already shot down hundreds of Russian Shaheds.
