Speed up to 70-80 km/h: list of streets in Kyiv and Dnipro where restrictions have been temporarily lifted

As of today, 1 April, the speed limit for cars on certain road sections in Kyiv and Dnipro has been temporarily increased. This was announced by the first deputy head of the Patrol Police Department, Oleksiy Biloshitsky, Komersant ukrainskyi https://www.komersant.info/ reports.

From 1 April to 1 November, the permitted speed of vehicles was increased to 80 km/h on some sections of roads in Kyiv and 70 km/h on some streets in Dnipro, and the cameras recording violations were reconfigured accordingly.

Kyiv

According to the decision of the Kyiv City Council, the list of road sections where the speed of vehicles is allowed to reach 80 km/h from 1 April to 1 November was determined:

  • roman Shukhevych Avenue (from the Northern Bridge to Honore de Balzac Street);
  • naberezhno-Rybalska Street (from Havanskyi Bridge to Elektrykiv Street);
  • Naddnipryanske highway;
  • Naberezhne Shosse (from Poshtova Square to Naddnipryanske Shosse);
  • Stolychne Highway (to Akademika Zabolotnoho Street);
  • mykola Bazhan Avenue (from the Southern Bridge Crossing to Kharkivska Square);
  • stepan Bandera Avenue (from Obolonskyi Avenue to the Northern Bridge);
  • p-69 motorway (from Ozerna Street to the Kyiv city limits).

On other sections of Kyiv roads, the speed limit is 50 km/h.

Dnipro

According to the decision of the executive committee of the Dnipro City Council, the list of street sections where the speed of vehicles is allowed from 01.04 to 01.11 is 70 km/h

  • naberezhna Zavodska Street, except for the following sections: 200 m on both sides of the intersection with Akademika Pavlova Street; from the slag dump exit to the turn to the Kaydatskyi Bridge; 50 m on both sides of unregulated pedestrian crossings near the intersections with Fatima Gafurova Street (Ice Arena Sports Complex and Metrobudivska Street);
  • naberezhna Peremohy street (from Yaruzhna street to Kosmichna street);
  • zaporizke Highway (from Shynna Street to Aeroportivska Street);
  • donetske highway, from the intersection with Berezynska street to the 5.45 and 5.46 Dnipro trains;
  • sonyachna Naberezhna Street, from the intersection with Lyubarskoho Street to the Ust-Samarskyi Bridge (excluding the areas within 50 metres of unregulated pedestrian crossings on both sides);
  • tsentralnyi bridge;
  • kaidatskyi bridge.


“In the places where the speed limit has changed, the auto-fixation cameras have been reconfigured to the current speed limit,”
