During his speech in the Sejm, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski praised Ukrainian immigrants for their high economic activity in Poland.

Sikorski’s statement, according to "Komersant Ukrainian", was reported by Onet.

Sikorski gave a speech on Poland’s foreign policy for 2026. In it, he mentioned the involvement of Ukrainians in the Polish labor market.

“The level of professional activity among adult immigrants from Ukraine is even higher than among Poles. Since 2022, Ukrainians have founded more than 120,000 companies in Poland. They hire people and pay taxes. These enterprises increase our trade with Ukraine,” Sikorski said.

He added that in peacetime, the role of Ukrainian immigrants will grow.

“For four years, we have been showing what the slogan ‘Polish solidarity’ means,” added the Polish foreign minister.

On February 19, Polish President Karol Nawrocki signed a document that provides for the transfer of all instruments of support for Ukrainian refugees to the general Law on the Protection of Foreigners.
