MP from the Servant of the People party Iryna Kormyshkina was served a second suspicion notice of intentional failure to declare her house in Odesa. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the NABU and the SAPO.

The special services do not disclose the name of the suspect, but reports from NABU indicate that it is Iryna Kormyshkina, an elected official from the Servant of the People party.

According to the investigation, the 46-year-old MP did not indicate in her declaration for 2023 the residential building in which she lives and land plots near Odesa worth more than UAH 17 million.

As a reminder, this MP is already a suspect in a case of illegal enrichment.

According to the investigation, in 2021-2022, she became the owner of assets worth more than UAH 20 million more than her official income and savings. She used these funds, in particular, to buy a house near Odesa.

According to the MP’s husband, businessman Yuriy Kormyshkin, his wife’s funds are his father’s inheritance.

Subsequently, the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine imposed a preventive measure on MP Iryna Kormyshkina in the form of a personal guarantee by the head of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia, and the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim.

According to the SAPO, the suspect is charged with fulfilling procedural duties:

  • to notify the investigator, prosecutor or court of changes in her place of residence and place of work;
  • to deposit their passports for traveling abroad and other documents entitling them to leave Ukraine and enter Ukraine with the relevant state authorities;
  • refrain from communicating with the persons specified in the investigating judge’s decision.

The obligations are valid for two months.
