Death of crypto businessman Ganych: law enforcement officers told what surveillance cameras showed

The police have concluded that blogger and crypto entrepreneur Konstantin Ganych, 32, known by the pseudonym “Kudo,” passed away on his own. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to a post by the Kyiv police on their official Facebook page.
Investigators reviewed surveillance video. They showed that no one was pursuing Hanych. The man parked himself near one of the high-rise buildings and shot himself in the head with a registered weapon. His body was found on the morning of October 11 in the Obolon district of the capital. The blogger died inside his own car.
According to the investigation, the day before he informed his family about the deterioration of his emotional state due to financial difficulties, and also sent them a farewell message.
It should be noted that earlier, Ukrainian media reported on the man’s suicide amid financial problems. They attributed the blogger’s unwillingness to live to the collapse in the cryptocurrency market that occurred on the eve of his death on October 10. At that time, bitcoin fell to $104,000, the crypto market lost $10 billion, and the US stock market lost $1.65 trillion. Some media outlets reported that Ganich could have lost $30 million of investors’ money at once.
The media also wrote that Ganich had $7 million in trust, and that was only investors’ money, not including his own money. In addition, the blogger himself talked about how he lost up to $1.3 million, but later returned the money to investors.
What is known about Konstantin Ganich (“Kudo”)
Konstantin Ganich is a Ukrainian entrepreneur, crypto trader, and content maker known by the pseudonym Kostya Kudo. He was the co-founder and CEO of the Cryptology Key trading academy, as well as a public figure in the domestic crypto community. Ganich’s activities as the head of Cryptology were reported by specialized platforms and organizers of industry events.
He had a fairly popular Instagram page among social media users.
According to open sources, he was born in 1993, lived in Kyiv, and built his career at the intersection of trading, educational products, and business consulting. Registries and media mentioned his involvement in the Ukrainian Traders Association and the TSTA Consulting business.
Under the Cryptology/Cryptology Key brand, Hanych developed trading training programs and spoke at specialized conferences. The websites of the conferences listed him as the co-founder and CEO of the company, which confirms his role in the educational direction of the crypto market.
In 2024-2025, he gained popularity and became recognizable not only due to his professional activities but also due to his active presence on social media, public interviews, and demonstration of a successful lifestyle.
“Kudo was also known as the owner of luxury supercars. In addition, he was the director of a non-governmental organization and the director of a company that, among other things, was engaged in support activities in the field of education. His car fleet officially included:
- Lamborghini Urus 2020,
- Ferrari 296 GTB 2023,
- Mercedes-Benz 220 CDI 2012.
By the way, the Ferrari 296 GTB 2023 was the only car of this model in Ukraine. The car cost the blogger UAH 15 million.

Shortly before his death, Kudo said that he had received numerous threats from investors due to the closure of one of his projects. In particular, the project was closed because of a partner who took away access to crypto wallets, which resulted in investors losing money. After that, according to Hanych, he received threats to burn his car and kill him.
And friends say that in his last post on Instagram, Ganych wrote openly about his inner exhaustion and loneliness.
Konstantin Ganich’s funeral took place in a narrow circle of relatives. The blogger and crypto businessman is survived by his parents.
