Today, the Verkhovna Rada will vote on the dismissal of Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov and Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Solskyi, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

These resignations are to be considered when the Verkhovna Rada considers the personnel block of issues.

A draft resolution has already been submitted to the Verkhovna Rada to dismiss Oleksandr Kubrakov from the post of Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine – Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure.

The explanatory note states that it is proposed to dismiss Kubrakov from his post in order to create a separate Ministry for Community Development, Territories and Housing and Communal Services.

MP Yaroslav Zhezelnyak said that this morning the resolution is to be considered by a parliamentary committee, and the document will be put to a vote in the session hall on the same day.

It is worth noting that the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, Mykola Solsky, has submitted his resignation to the Verkhovna Rada.

Law enforcement agencies accuse Solsky of seizing state land worth UAH 291 million and attempting to seize another UAH 190 million.

The minister, for his part, said that this relates to the period from 2017 to 2018, when he was engaged in lawyer’s activities. Solsky also said that it was a dispute between state-owned enterprises and individuals who had been legally transferred land.

Earlier, Kommersant Ukrayinsky wrote that a decision had been made at the highest political level to dismiss Oleksandr Kubrakov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Community, Territorial and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine, and Mustafa-Masi Nayem, Head of the State Agency for the Restoration and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine.

The dismissal of the two officials was discussed on the sidelines earlier, but the final decision to dismiss them was made in connection with the situation with the construction of inadequate protection at some important critical infrastructure facilities.

Resignations in the Cabinet of Ministers

As reported, the Cabinet of Ministers and other government agencies are to be reshuffled. Thus, personnel changes may take place in the government, the SBU, and the Prosecutor General’s Office. The number of ministers who may lose their positions has increased. According to Kommersant Ukrainsky, the Rada may dismiss 3 ministers this week.

In particular, the following ministers may resign: Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction Oleksandr Kubrakov, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Iryna Vereshchuk, Minister of Education and Science Oksen Lisovyi, Minister of Justice Denys Malyuska, and Minister of Agrarian Policy Mykola Solskyi.

Some media outlets reported that Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Iryna Vereshchuk was allegedly to be dismissed and appointed head of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration. She stated that the information was untrue.
