Today, January 15, power outage schedules for residential consumers will be implemented in all regions of Ukraine. They will be in effect throughout the day. This was reported by the press service of Ukrenergo, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
Power restriction schedules will also be applied to industrial consumers.
Why are restrictions being introduced?
The energy company explained that the reason for the tightening of restrictions is the consequences of Russia’s massive rocket and drone attacks on energy infrastructure facilities.
“On January 15, hourly power cuts and power restriction schedules will be applied in all regions of Ukraine. The reason is damage to energy facilities as a result of Russian attacks,” Ukrenergo reported.
How many power outage queues will be in effect
The number of simultaneous outages is not officially disclosed. Ukrenergo emphasizes that the situation in the power system remains dynamic and may change throughout the day.

Situation in Kyiv
We remind you that on January 13, after another attack by the Russian Federation, the situation with electricity supply on the right bank of Kyiv worsened and became similar to the power outages on the left bank of the capital.
Energy companies are continuing emergency repair work and are calling on citizens to use electricity rationally.

Energy companies urge citizens to:
- to use powerful electrical appliances at night, if possible;
- avoid turning on energy-intensive appliances at the same time;
- follow only official sources of information to avoid misinformation.
