“Seventh” payment: IDPs will receive another UAH 2,000
18 September 2025 12:27
The Ukrainian government has decided to provide another payment to internally displaced persons (IDPs) who continued to work after receiving basic assistance. This was reported by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko and the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
According to Svyrydenko, an additional one-time payment of UAH 2,000 will be given to IDPs who have been working continuously for six months.
Melnychuk clarified that this is the so-called “seventh” payment for those IDPs who have previously received state aid for six months.
The right to this allowance will be granted to:
- those who have been officially employed for six months,
- or those who have registered as individual entrepreneurs and received income from business activities during this time.
Thus, the state encourages IDPs who remain economically active and do not interrupt their work activities despite the difficult conditions of war.
Assistance for IDPs: what is known
IDPs can receive assistance from the state (financial assistance for living expenses) and international organizations such as UNHCR or the International Committee of the Red Cross.
The state aid amounts to UAH 2000 for adults and UAH 3000 for children and people with disabilities, and you can apply online through Diia or in person at the ASC. International organizations provide assistance to vulnerable categories of the population, often in the form of multi-purpose assistance or financial support based on certain criteria.
