Day seven of the 2026 Paralympics: when Ukrainian athletes are competing

Friday, March 13, marks the seventh day of competition at the 2026 Winter Paralympics.
On this day, the tournament will feature competitions in five sports, with medals to be awarded in four disciplines. This was reported by Suspilne .Sport, as relayed by "Komersant Ukrainian".
Ukraine is represented in two sports:
- Para-biathlon
- Para snowboarding.
Most Ukrainians are in para-biathlon
The most popular discipline for the Ukrainian team will be the sprint pursuit in para-biathlon.
Twenty-three Ukrainian athletes are set to compete in the qualifying rounds in various classes:
- sitting
- standing
- with visual impairment.
Among the participants are:
- Taras Rad
- Pavlo Bal
- Iryna Buy
- Oleksandra Kononova
- Grigory Vovchinsky
- Oksana Shishkova
- Oleksandr Kazik.
Ukrainian in parasnowboarding
Only one athlete, Vladislav Khilchenko, will represent Ukraine in the parasnowboarding competition.
He will compete in the banked slalom discipline (class SB-UL), which consists of two runs.

Where are the 2026 Games being held
The XIV Winter Paralympic Games are being held in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo.
The Paralympics will last until March 15.
