General Nikoliuk resigns from his post as commander of the Armed Forces training

General Viktor Nikoliuk is resigning from his post as commander of the Land Forces Training Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He wrote about this on Facebook, Komersant ukrainskyi

Nikoliuk said he was resigning from his post as commander of the Land Forces Training Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and wished his successor to continue building the potential we have jointly developed over the year.
“New challenges, new trials, new victories. The current time requires every Ukrainian, and especially the military, to make every effort to defeat the Russian enemy. And I plan to do all this by heading one of the formations and one of the frontline areas,”
– said the general.
He also expressed his gratitude to everyone for the fruitful cooperation.
“I am confident that it will continue in the new environment. Together to victory! I am honoured!”
– nikoluk added.
It should be noted that on 13 March 2023, Major General Viktor Nikoliuk was appointed Commander of the Training Command of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Prior to that, he served as the Commander of the operational command “North”.
What is known about Viktor Nikoliuk
Viktor Nikoliuk is 47 years old. He is originally from the Kirovohrad region.
He has been the commander of the North Command since 2021, and in 2022, after the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, he was in charge of the defence of Chernihiv.
on 10 March 2022, Nikoliuk was awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine and the Order of the Golden Star.
