During the air raid alert on 25 March, when there was a threat of a ballistic strike, the Radisson Blu Hotel in Kyiv refused to let people into the shelter, arguing that it was allegedly “only for hotel customers”. This was reported on her Facebook page by Kateryna Smachylo, who tried to find shelter in the hotel, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.
“Today (25 March), Raddison Blue did not let me into the shelter during the air raid. This is unacceptable. I was shocked, called the police and left a statement. The National Police of Ukraine, by the way, arrived in 15 minutes. They were very polite and accepted the statement,”
– said Kateryna Smachylo.

Subsequently, Smachylo posted on Instagram stories, where she tagged the hotel. The hotel wrote to her in private messages saying that “we will call you back and tell you why”.
“And then I present to your attention what Radisson did …. He wrote that they divide people. That is, if I am their guest today, I can use the shelter and survive. But if not tomorrow, I have to stand under the ballistics,”
– she said.
But Kateryna refused to talk.

Raddison Blu posted an explanation of the hotel’s policy on its Facebook page: “when the shelter is overcrowded, guests have priority”. However, the hotel did not specify whether the shelter was overcrowded on 25 March.

It should be noted that on 25 March, several explosions were heard in Kyiv, immediately followed by the sound of an air raid alarm.
The enemy allegedly fired upgraded Oniks-M missiles from Crimea.
According to Mayor Vitali Klitschko, 10 people were injured in the ballistic attack on Kyiv on 25 March.
