Heat to rise to 41: weather forecast for 12 July

Dry, hot weather is expected in most regions of Ukraine today, 12 July. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Centre.
During the day, forecasters predict a heat wave of 35…39℃. In Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions, there will be extreme heat of 40…41℃ in some places.
In the western regions, there will be partly cloudy weather, without precipitation. Only in Transcarpathia, Prykarpattia and Volyn there will be short-term rain and thunderstorms in some places during the day.
The air temperature will be 30… 34℃. In the highlands of the Carpathians, the daytime temperature will be 20… 25℃.
The wind in Ukraine will be mostly easterly, 5-10 m/s.
Dry, hot weather will remain in the Kyiv region and in the capital. The wind will be mostly east, 5-10 m/s. Daytime temperatures will be up to 35℃.
When the heat will ease
According to weather forecaster Natalia Didenko, the heat is expected to gradually ease on 20 July.
“The heat wave is still going on, and it’s gaining momentum. The peak heat days are from 13 to 16 July. The south of Ukraine will retain hot air with extreme heat for the longest time. The heat will ease from 20 July,”
– didenko added.
