Today, August 6, the heat in Ukraine will increase, with temperatures in the south expected to reach 33…37 degrees throughout the day. In the eastern regions it is expected to be 29… 33 degrees. This was reported by weather forecaster Natalia Didenko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

It will also be hot in the central part – 28… 33 degrees, in Vinnytsia region – 24… 26 degrees. In the northern regions, 25… 28 degrees are forecast, and in the west – only 21… 25 degrees.

“The atmospheric front will bring thunderstorms to the west and north of Ukraine, as well as to Vinnytsia, part of Poltava and Cherkasy regions on Wednesday. The rest of Ukraine will have dry weather,” the forecaster said.

Today, August 6, rain with thunderstorms is expected in Kyiv, with heavy rain, gusty winds and hail.

The air temperature in the capital is expected to reach 26 degrees.

After the atmospheric front passes, the temperature will drop by several degrees.

According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, the weather in the western, northern and most central regions will be determined by an atmospheric front moving from Western Europe: there will be short-term rains accompanied by thunderstorms, hail and squally winds in some areas.

Most regions will remain warm, with hot weather in the south of the country, and only in the western regions will daytime temperatures drop.

Temperatures will be 14-19° at night, up to 23° in the south of the country; 18-23° in the western regions, 24-29° in the northern and Vinnytsia regions, 30-34° in the rest of the country, and 35-37° in the southern part.

According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, on August 6, there will be thunderstorms at night in Khmelnytsky, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, and during the day in Chernivtsi, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, and Kirovohrad regions, with hail and squalls of 15-20 m/s in some areas

Hazard level I, yellow, has been declared.

The weather conditions may lead to complications in the work of energy, construction, and utility companies and traffic.
