Special operation against drug mafia: National Police conducts more than 200 searches across the country

Law enforcement officers have launched more than 200 searches as part of a special operation to eliminate drug trafficking in Ukraine. This was reported by the National Police, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
Law enforcement officers are documenting the facts of industrial-scale drug production and sale, as well as eliminating drug laboratories and warehouses for packaging “goods”, including alpha-PVP, amphetamine and mephedrone.
Law enforcement officials promised to provide information about the results later.
Earlier, the police reported that in 2024, they managed to eliminate 143 organized groups and criminal organizations, more than a thousand drug laboratories and drug houses, seize tons of drugs and precursors, and seize the property of drug traffickers worth millions of hryvnias.
In total, over 47 thousand drug crimes were detected last year, 20 thousand people were suspected, and indictments were sent to court in almost 39 thousand criminal proceedings.
