US Special Representative Kellogg arrives in Kyiv

US Special Representative for Ukraine Keith Kellogg arrived in Kyiv on Independence Day, August 24. He took part in the celebrations.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the broadcast of the Independence Day celebrations, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
Kellogg attended the Independence Day celebrations on St. Sophia Square in central Kyiv. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy delivered an address.
Representatives and officials from other countries, including Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, also attended the event along with Kellogg. Among the foreign guests:
- ministers of Defense of Sweden, Denmark, Romania, Lithuania, Latvia and Canada;
- minister for Veterans Affairs of the United Kingdom.
“The Ukrainian people have gone through one of the most difficult paths in Europe, but they have survived, did not fall, did not dissolve and did not lose their country. For a long time, Ukrainians had to fight for their national rights. But time and time again, our people have proven that Ukrainian dreams will still be realized on our Ukrainian land,” Zelensky said.
Earlier, the media reported that US Special Representative Keith Kellogg would come to Ukraine on August 24-25.
