Traitorous singer Annie Lorak receives Russian citizenship

Ukrainian singer-traitor Ani Lorak, who has been living in Russia since 2014 and does not condemn Russia’s war against Ukraine, plans to obtain a Russian passport. This was reported by the Russian propaganda outlet RIA Novosti, according to Kommersant Ukrainian 
A native of Bukovina, Karolina Kuek, better known as Ani Lorak, has applied for a Russian passport.
Citing its own sources in the singer’s entourage, the propaganda outlet reports that the artist wrote an application last month.
“Karolina Kuek applied for Russian citizenship back in February,” the source said,
– the source said.
It is worth noting that in 2016, State Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov offered to help Lorak obtain a Russian passport, but the artist’s representative said that she was not going to change her citizenship.

Ani Lorak was born in the Chernivtsi region and represented the country at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008, when she was awarded the title of People’s Artist of Ukraine.
After 2014, she moved to Russia, where she played along with anti-Ukrainian propaganda.
After Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Lorak did not condemn the actions of the aggressor country in which she lived and worked.
Ukrainian artists then condemned her “position”, and the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Information Policy appealed to the President to strip the singer of the title of People’s Artist of Ukraine.
In October 2022, the National Security and Defence Council imposed sanctions on Karolina.
Lorak does not hide the fact that she pays money from her concerts to a Russian foundation that “helps” deported Ukrainian children from Zaporizhzhia and Donbas. In interviews with propagandists, she stated that her mission was to “serve people”.
