The US is leaving 66 international organizations: what is known

President Donald Trump has signed an order instructing US federal agencies to leave 66 international organizations. This was reported by the White House, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
According to the website, the decision is justified by the fact that participation in these organizations no longer serves America’s interests.
“Today, President Donald Trump signed a presidential memorandum ordering the United States to withdraw from 66 international organizations that no longer serve America’s interests,” the statement said.
According to the American leader’s order, all US federal agencies must cease participation in and funding of 31 UN structures and 35 non-UN structures.
The document states that this is a step toward ending funding for organizations that, according to the president’s administration, prioritize globalist ideas over US national interests, undermine their independence, and waste taxpayers’ money. The memorandum states that many of these structures promote radical climate programs and other ideological initiatives without delivering real results.
The decision is aimed at saving American citizens’ money and redirecting resources to domestic priorities under the “America First” policy.
The list of organizations from which the US is to withdraw includes the UN Alliance of Civilizations, the UN Democracy Fund, the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, the UN Population Fund, and the Science and Technology Center in Ukraine.
