Football club Dynamo Kyiv, which will play in the Champions League qualifiers next season, has decided on the city where it will play its home games. According to Ukrainian Football, this city will be Lublin, Poland, reports "Komersant Ukrainian"

Dynamo will play its home qualifying matches at the Arena Lublin, which has a capacity of 15,500 spectators.

However, if Dynamo qualifies and gets to the main stage of the European Cup, this stadium will not be suitable, according to UEFA requirements. Then the Kyiv club will have to look for another venue. In particular, according to the publication, German stadiums will be considered.

Champions League 2024-2025

The 2024-25 football season will be the first year of the Champions League in the new reformed format. Thus, for the first time in history, at the group stage, the teams will not be divided into groups of 4 clubs, but will play in one large group of 36 teams. Each team will play 8 matches. At the end of the group round, the first 8 teams will automatically qualify for the playoffs, and teams 9 to 24 will play for 8 more places. Standard knockout games will then begin, starting with the 1/8 finals.

Dynamo Kyiv will start its journey in the Champions League from the second qualifying round. That is, to get into the group tournament, the Kyiv team will have to go through three qualifying rounds.

Dynamo’s highest achievements in the Champions League are the semi-finals in 1977, 1987 and 1999.
