On September 1, Lviv will hold a farewell service for former Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andriy Parubiy. The funeral will take place on September 2.
This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Lviv City Council.
On Monday, September 1, at 19:00, a parastas will be held at St. George’s Cathedral (5 St. George’s Square).
On Tuesday, September 2, at 12:00, the funeral service for Andriy Parubiy, who was killed on August 30, will begin at St. George’s Cathedral.
At 13:30, a citywide farewell ceremony will be held on Rynok Square in Lviv, after which the politician will be buried at Lychakiv Cemetery.
On Saturday, August 30, the former chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Andriy Parubiy, was shot dead in Lviv. According to law enforcement, the attacker opened fire and made about eight shots.
