The date of the meeting between Zelensky and Trump has been announced: details

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky may meet with US President Donald Trump next week, according tothe Americanpublication Axios, citing unnamed Ukrainian officials , as reported by Komersant.

According to the journalists’ sources, there is a possibility that Zelensky will travel to the US next week to meet with Trump and finalize a security guarantee agreement. Alternatively, their meeting may take place during the World Economic Forum in Davos.

The day before, on January 8, Zelensky announced that following negotiations in Paris with US presidential advisers Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, the document on security guarantees for Ukraine was ready to be finalized with Trump.

Prior to that, Witkoff and Kushner met in Paris with Russian President Vladimir Putin’s special representative Kirill Dmitriev. According to Axios, they handed Dmitriev a draft peace plan agreed upon with Ukraine. The White House wants a clear answer from Putin on this proposal.
