A batch of British Storm Shadow missiles has been sent to Ukraine

The UK has recently handed over an additional batch of Storm Shadow missiles to Ukraine.

Bloomberg writes about this, citing sources familiar with the situation, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

According to the agency, the missiles were sent to provide Kyiv with supplies for the winter. Ukrainian troops are expected to use Storm Shadow to strike deep into Russian territory.

In late October, CNN cited sources as saying that the US Department of War had approved the transfer of long-range Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine. The Pentagon decided that sending missiles to the conflict zone “will not have a negative impact on US arsenals.” At the same time, the final decision to send Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine must be made by American leader Donald Trump.

What is known about Storm Shadow

Storm Shadow is a high-precision air-launched missile with a range of more than 250 km, flying at low altitudes and using MBDA combined navigation systems.

It is worth noting that London does not disclose the volume of missiles transferred to Ukraine and does not make regular announcements about their deliveries.

Later, the White House said that it was not considering the possibility of transferring Tomahawk missiles to Kyiv. But the head of state did not rule out that he might reconsider his position in the future. At the same time, he expressed confidence that the war between Moscow and Kyiv could be resolved in a few months.
