Government initiative launched to promptly inform Ukrainians about the heating season

Ukraine is preparing for the 2024-2025 heating season. In order to provide timely information on its progress, social media pages called the Headquarters of Cohesive Communities have been launched, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.

The pages of the “Headquarters of Cohesive Communities” will contain up-to-date information about the heating season, including

– news on the preparation of communities and regions for the heating season;

– advice and instructions in case of emergencies;

– up-to-date information on power outages in case of shelling;

– recommendations during the heating season.

You can receive the news by subscribing to the Headquarters of United Communities’ Facebook, Telegram, WhatsApp or Viber pages.

For example, by following the Headquarters of Cohesive Communities page on Telegram, you can find out that

– 4,620 metres of heating networks that needed repair were replaced in Kramatorsk;

– six modular boiler houses purchased at public expense are being installed in Dnipro. Half of the boiler houses have a capacity of over 1 MW, two more have a capacity of over 1.5 MW and one has a capacity of 2.2 MW;

– zhytomyr city received two generating power plants. One, with a capacity of 0.6 MW, has already been installed at the district boiler house. The other, with a capacity of 1.0 MW, will be installed at a boiler house serving a large residential area of the city.
