Applications for grants for processing industry producers have been launched: how to get up to UAH 8 million

Starting February 15, Ukrainian companies can apply for state grants to modernize and expand their production. The funding program, which has been operating successfully for several years, is aimed at supporting the manufacturing industry and creating new jobs. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Ministry of Economy.
In 2025, the state will allocate UAH 3.6 billion to finance processing enterprises.
According to Yulia Svyrydenko, First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine, almost 1,000 enterprises have already updated their equipment thanks to the grant program, and the new funding will create more than 3,400 jobs.
Who can receive a grant?
Companies operating in the following industries can apply for funding:
- Food industry
- Production of furniture, chemicals, and metal products
- Woodworking and textile industry
- Other categories (NACE C)
All entrepreneurs can apply, except those operating in the temporarily occupied territories.
Prospective entrepreneurs, existing individual entrepreneurs or legal entities can apply for a grant:
- not located and not conducting business activities in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine;
- not conducting business activities in the territory of Russia;
- not subject to sanctions;
- no bankruptcy proceedings have been initiated against them;
- no court decision on criminal prosecution for corruption;
- have no debts to the budget.
Requirements: the business must create at least 5 jobs and operate for at least three years to return the funds through taxes.

The business plan of the company is evaluated by the bank, and the decision to issue a grant is made by the Ministry of Economy.
What can the grant be spent on?
The funds received can be used for
- Purchase of production equipment
- Its delivery, installation and launch
- Software for production automation
Program terms and conditions
Grants are provided on a co-financing basis:
- 50/50 – the state and the entrepreneur invest equal shares.
Starting in 2024, preferential co-financing terms apply for drone manufacturers, printing companies, and enterprises in combat zones where state electronic registers operate without a specific date for the completion of such actions: the state invests 80%, and the project initiators pay the remaining 20%.
The maximum grant amount is UAH 8 million.

The Ministry of Economy and the State Employment Center will review the application within 20 business days after the end of the current application period. Diia will notify you of the result.
