The capital’s Budivelnyk is the winner of the 2025/2026 Ukrainian Women’s Cup. In the final, Vitaliy Cherny’s team defeated Odessa’s InterChem with a score of 66:41, according to the club’s official website, as reported by

The first quarter was cautious for both teams, and as a result, they scored only 14 points between them – Budivelnik won the ten-minute period 11:3.
In the second quarter, Budivelnik took a double-digit lead, and winning the third quarter 18:5 effectively decided the winner.
Kristina Filevich finished the final with 8 points, 13 rebounds, 7 assists, and 5 steals, while Anzhelika Lyashko and Daria Zavidna each scored 11 points in the match.


For the first time, mother and daughter played on the same court: the club’s playing president, Olena Gulyamova, and Maria Gulyamova.
This is Budivelnik’s second victory in the Ukrainian Cup. The team previously won the trophy in 2022.
