Shooting in Kharkiv: an unknown person wounded a veteran with a prosthesis

On Sunday, August 3, a 22-year-old veteran of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was taken to a hospital in Kharkiv. He was shot in the stomach after a stranger fired a gun.
This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Telegram of the Kharkiv region police.
The police clarified that the attacker shot and beat the Armed Forces veteran.
“On the evening of August 3, the police received a report from eyewitnesses about a shooting in the Industrial District. Police units, an investigative team and a forensic laboratory immediately arrived at the address,” the statement said.
According to law enforcement, during a sudden conflict, one of the participants pulled out a traumatic pistol and shot his opponent at point blank range, after which he was beaten. As a result, the 22-year-old victim, a veteran of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was hospitalized.
“In the course of the quarrel, the 43-year-old suspect pulled out a 9 mm PMR traumatic pistol and shot the Armed Forces veteran. The victim is a 22-year-old Ukrainian defender who lost his leg while performing a combat mission in the war. He was fitted with a prosthesis,” the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office said to .
