A map of stores where you can buy supplies for the Schoolchildren’s Package has been created

Parents of first-graders can now quickly find stores that accept payments from the Schoolchildren’s Package program. To do this, a special online dashboard with an interactive map has been launched, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports, citing the press service of the Ministry of Social Policy.
The map is available on the website of the Ministry of Social Policy here.
What the map shows
The dashboard displays more than 25 thousand retail outlets across Ukraine, where it is guaranteed that you can pay with the program’s funds. You can filter by region and territorial community to find the nearest stores.
It is worth noting that this is not a complete list of all stores, but only those where you can definitely pay. In fact, there are more such places.
If you notice any inaccuracies in the information about a store on the map, you can report it through a special form on the website.
How many families have already received assistance
As of September 5, more than 103 thousand families have received state aid in the amount of UAH 526 million. This is 41% of the total program budget.
Almost 18 thousand families received money in the second tranche.
Where you can spend the money
Funds are accepted in stores with the following codes:
- Children’s clothing (code 5641).
- Clothes for the whole family (code 5651).
- Shoes (code 5661).
- Stationery (code 5943).
Who is eligible for assistance
Financial support in the amount of UAH 5,000 is available to all families whose children are entering first grade in Ukrainian schools this year. The application can be submitted by any of the child’s parents or guardians.
The form of education does not matter – assistance is provided for both full-time and distance learning. It also does not matter whether it is a public or private school.
Families outside Ukraine will be able to receive the payment upon returning home. Residents of the temporarily occupied territories – after moving to the government-controlled territory.

The purpose of the program
The initiative aims to ease the financial burden on parents at the beginning of their children’s schooling. It is part of a broader government strategy to support families with children, which may expand in the future after the relevant draft law is approved.
Application procedure
The easiest way is through the Diia mobile application (more than 105 thousand applications have already been submitted). Alternatively, you can apply in person to a Pension Fund service center.
The application deadline is extended until mid-November 2025. Even if a child is enrolled in school after the start of the school year, the right to assistance is preserved.
Documents required
For online application you need:
- ID card or foreign passport in Diia.
- Confirmed tax number.
- Diya.Signature for electronic signature.
For a paper application:
- Identity document.
- Taxpayer identification number (if any).
- Powers of attorney of the representative (if required).
What to do in case of technical problems
If the service is not available in the application, the reason is usually incorrect or missing data in the AICOM 2 system. You should contact the school to check and enter the correct information about the child and parents. After updating the data, wait 2 days before trying again.
Receiving funds
The money is transferred to the Diia.Card within two weeks after the application is submitted and verified. The first payments began at the end of August – more than 86 thousand families have already received them.
The funds can be used within 180 days from the date of enrollment.
