Svitolina continues to fight for the championship at Wimbledon: what are her chances?

Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina is the only Ukrainian to continue to fight for the Wimbledon title, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
Svitolina’s match in the 1/8 finals with Chinese player Wang Xinyu is scheduled to start at 16:00.
The Ukrainian athlete (21st in the world rankings) is considered the favourite of this match. Bookmakers give odds of 1.53 for her victory, and 2.50 for Wang Xinyu (42nd in the WTA rankings).
As for winning the entire tournament, Svitolina is no longer considered a favourite. Currently, bookmakers consider her chances of winning the title to be average.
Experts believe that the favourites of the tournament are Yelena Rybakina, a Kazakh tennis player of Russian origin, Emma Navaro, an American, and Donna Vekic, a Croatian. Svitolina’s current opponent, Chinese player Wang Xinyu, is the undisputed underdog of the tournament.
Wang Xinyu
Wang X inyu is a professional tennis player from China, born on 26 September 2001. Her highest position in the WTA singles rankings is 32nd in October 2023.
Throughout her career, Wang has won several ITF singles tournaments. She made her debut in the main draw of a Grand Slam tournament at the Australian Open 2022.
Wang Xinyu plays with her right hand and uses a two-handed backhand. She is considered one of the most promising young tennis players from China, who continues to develop her career and improve her results on the international stage.
