In the first week of the new Cabinet’s work, several important decisions were made. In particular, they concerned the economic and defense sectors.
This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko on Telegram.
“A week has passed since the new government began its work. At the start, we clearly identified four key priorities for ourselves: human dignity, security, economic development and reconstruction,” she said.
According to Svyrydenko, prosthetics is one of the main tasks in the field of social policy.
In the defense sector, the government decided to scale up domestic explosives production.
“Together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, we have launched a new grant competition under Brave1. Our goal is to make everything from equipment to chemicals in Ukraine. Systematically and in the required volumes,” the Prime Minister emphasized.
In the economic sphere, the Cabinet of Ministers launched the implementation of the National Security and Defense Council’s decision on a moratorium on business inspections for law enforcement officers.
According to Svyrydenko, the business expects the government to take tangible steps towards deregulation.
“That is why we are launching an audit of all public spending. We plan to significantly reduce bureaucratic procedures. We continue to work with ministers. I meet with each head of the ministry separately to develop specific plans. They will be included in the Government Action Program,” she added.
