At night, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a powerful group missile strike against Russian anti-aircraft missile systems that the occupiers use to cover the temporarily occupied Crimea. This was reported by [Kommersant] with reference to the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This time, the target was one S-300 division near Belbek and two S-400 divisions near Belbek and Sevastopol.
According to operational data, two radars of the S-300 and S-400 systems were destroyed as a result of accurate strikes. Information about the third radar is currently being clarified. In addition, explosions of Russian air defence munitions were recorded at the sites of the strike.
This strike is the next step in the Ukrainian Defence Forces’ consistent destruction of Russian air defence assets on the Crimean peninsula. Ukrainian servicemen are methodically paralysing the invaders’ air defences, paving the way for further strikes against the occupation forces. In particular, as reported by , the GRU plans to destroy the Crimean bridge by the end of June, so Russia has pulled up barges to protect it.
