The son of Vinnytsia businessman Stanislav Moskalyuk, who attacked a soldier, turned out to be the brother of an adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. This was reported by a well-known blogger and lawyer Mykhailo Schneider.
In his post, he spoke about the political ties of the Moskaliuk family. For example, Stanislav Moskaliuk’s sister, Lyudmyla Protasenko, is an advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. According to sources, this family has considerable influence, and they have repeatedly avoided punishment for various offenses, probably thanks to Protasenko’s connections. Will Moskalyuk be under house arrest?

The situation became publicized after the 31-year-old man, driving a Range Rover, parked in the wrong place, blocking traffic on a one-way road. Despite the traffic jam, Moskaliuk left the vehicle and walked to his apartment, keeping drivers waiting. When he returned to his car, Moskaliuk responded aggressively to other road users’ comments about the traffic violation, and when they repeatedly asked him to stop, he attacked the soldier, hitting him. When the man learned that the victim was a soldier, he did not come to his senses, saying: “So what?”.

Moreover, Moskaliuk reacted aggressively to a journalist whose car was blocked among others and who began to film the incident. Stanislav and his girlfriend attacked the girl, trying to knock the phone out of her hands. And, as it turned out, according to a post by blogger and lawyer Mykhailo Schneider, it was no accident that Moskaliuk was filming the incident.

According to Schneider, Stanislav Moskaliuk has family ties to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. The 31-year-old man’s sister, Lyudmyla Protasenko, is an advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. According to sources, this family has considerable influence, and they have repeatedly avoided punishment for various offenses, probably due to Lyudmyla’s connections. “Will Moskalyuk be under house arrest?” asks journalist Schneider, referring to the family’s expenses covered by the state, which probably led to the acquisition of the apartment in France owned by her sister.
The pre-trial investigation is currently underway, and the incident is classified as a criminal offense. According to witnesses, after the attack on the soldier, Moskaliuk threatened him, promising “problems for life.”
