After another missile strike on a military training ground, Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky ordered to move the training of soldiers underground as much as possible. This is stated on Syrsky’s Facebook page , "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

According to the head of the Armed Forces, today he held a meeting on personnel training. First of all, he heard a report from the Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Major General Ihor Skybyuk, who is responsible for training. Mr. Syrskyi emphasized the strict observance of safety requirements at training grounds and training centers.

He noted that according to the updated edition of the Basic Combined Arms Training program, the duration of the Basic Combined Arms Training course is now 51 days. Time has been added for training in countering attack drones, firearms and engineering training, and survival in trench conditions.

“The adaptation program has also been updated to prepare servicemen for combat operations upon arrival from training centers to military units. Modern warfare requires flexibility and faster implementation of innovations, including in the field of professional training. Therefore, in particular, we will deploy advanced training for servicemen in light vehicles,” the statement said.

At the same time, Syrskyi emphasized the strict observance of safety requirements at training grounds and training centers. He noted that today the whole of Ukraine is at risk of attacks by enemy missiles and drones. Therefore, the training process should be moved underground as much as possible.

“It is necessary to respond to air raid alarms and the appearance of reconnaissance drones immediately… I emphasize once again: the main thing is people. Their training, their safety, their lives. The better our soldiers are trained, the more protected they will be, and the more protected our country will be. I am grateful to our partners, all military personnel and concerned civilians – everyone who moves forward and improves the process of training the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” summarized Syrskyi.
