Street fighting continues in Vovchansk, Kharkiv region. The Russian occupiers are trying to advance, but suffer constant losses. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
Syniehubov said that several dozen occupants are blocked at an industrial plant in Vovchansk. The enemy is trying to break through, but is constantly suffering losses in this area.
“The task of our military is to inflict maximum damage in the Lipetsk and Vovchansk directions. At the same time, destroy the maximum amount of manpower, military equipment and weapons,”
– he said.
Yuriy Povkh, spokesman for the Kharkiv Operational and Tactical Group of Troops, told Radio Liber ty that the Russians remained blocked at the aggregate plant. He did not say how many invaders were involved.
“This enclave remains blocked by the Ukrainian Defence Forces… They (other Russian forces – ed.) are trying to get in, one of the directions in Vovchansk is the one towards the plant. They are making attacks, but our Defence Forces are repelling them,”
– povkh said.
We would like to add that the Russian military may have shot a man with a disability in Vovchansk, Kharkiv region. The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office has opened a case over the violation of the laws and customs of war.
