Telegram has restored the previously blocked three official chatbots of the GUR and the SBU to transmit data to the Defence Forces about the Russian army and the movement of enemy equipment. This was reported by the SPRAVDI Centre for Strategic Communications and Information Security, Komersant ukrainskyi https://www.komersant.info/ reports.

According to the Centre for Strategic Communications and Information Security, these are the bots of the Main Intelligence Directorate and the Security Service, as well as the Ministry of Digital Transformation’s eVorog bot.

The SPRAVDI noted that the enemy can create pseudobots and lookalike bots to spread disinformation or collect user data. To prevent this, the Centre recommends using a chatbot checker: dovidka.info/botcheker.

It should be noted that earlier, the Telegram app blocked a number of Ukrainian official chatbots, including the Main Intelligence Bot.

The Freedom of Russia Legion, which is fighting on the side of Ukraine against the Russian occupiers, also announced the blocking of its bot.

In addition, as of 08:30, the chatbots of the Main Intelligence Directorate, the Security Service, and the Ministry of Digital Transformation “eVorog” were unavailable. When trying to find the relevant bots, a message appeared that “the user does not exist”.
