Telegram blocks GUR and SBU chatbots that countered Russian aggression

The Telegram app has blocked a number of Ukrainian official chatbots, including the Main Intelligence Bot. This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, Komersant ukrainskyi 
reports.
“The management of the Telegram platform has unreasonably blocked a number of official bots that countered Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine, including the Main Intelligence Bot,
– the statement said.
It is noted that this happened contrary to the rules and public statements made by Telegram’s management.
The intelligence service says that despite the blocking of the bot, the personal data of Ukrainians is safe.
At the same time, it is noted that the enemy creates chatbots with similar names. The DIU urged not to send any personal data to them.
“We are already restoring the bot’s operation on other platforms. The following communication channels are still available: official email: [email protected]; Signal: 38 096 945 53 41; WhatsApp: 38 096 945 53 41,”
– the intelligence added.
The Freedom of Russia Legion, which is fighting on the side of Ukraine against the Russian occupiers, also announced the blocking of its bot.
In addition, as of 08:30, the chatbots of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Digital Transformation “eVorog” are unavailable. When trying to find the relevant bots, a message appears that “the user does not exist”.
