Trump announces closure of airspace over Venezuela

The airspace over Venezuela and the surrounding areas is closed to all flights. This was stated by US President Donald Trump on his social network Truth Social, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“I appeal to all airlines, pilots, drug traffickers, and human traffickers, keep in mind that the airspace over and around Venezuela is closed,” the American president wrote.
On Saturday, Spanish and Portuguese authorities recommended that their airlines not fly in Venezuelan airspace in the coming days.
In early November, it became known that Washington had begun modernizing the Roosevelt Roads US Navy base, abandoned more than 20 years ago, and had also begun building infrastructure at civilian airports in Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. Analysts believe that all these actions point to preparations that will help the US military conduct operations in Venezuela. At the end of October, Donald Trump said that “the next step will be land”.
